Phas gaye re Obama is really a very nice and hilarious movie. Though the movie does not boasts of any superstar like the Khans and Kumars but the combination of Rajat Kapoor,Amole Gupte,Sanjay Mishra and Neha Dhupia makes it deadly one.
The movie deals with recession but with totally different angle. It shows how the recession in US has an impact on kidnapping gangs in India. The taunts and the pun make the audience tickle.
The story revolves around an Indian Businessman Om (Rajat Kapoor) who loses everything in recession and is back in India to sell his ancestral property to pay his debts back to keep his house in US. But the gangs which have been also hit by recession took him to be rich NRI party who can be answer to their "mandi" unaware of fact that Om has gone bankrupt.
The innovative way in which the movie has dealt with recession hitting the terrorist gangs make it a must watch.
The movie has proved that it is not the star cast or big budget but the story and the performances that steal the show.

Kites Review!!!
To start with I am a big fan of Hrithik Roshan ever since he made his debut in Bollywood and I believe that he is one of the most talented actor. His performance in Koi Mil Gaya,Dhoom2 and Jodha Akbar was commendable and not to forget his debut movie Kaho naa pyaar hai. Every time Hrithik works with his dad, the duo create magic which mesmerises the audience.
But the latest flick KITES is an exception.First of all,I can't understand why was it named "Kites". There is no story at all. The story was just ageless bollywood romantic masala shot in Mexico and Vegas. The movie is such a waste that no one in the movie makes any impression on the audience. Apart from exotic locations which is common nowadays in any Bollywood movie there is nothing good at all about the movie. The movie was as slow as a tortoise. I can't think anything which goes in favour of the movie except the dance competition and that is only because Hrithik is such a immaculate dancer. I found that few of the gentlemen found the movie okay because of the actress Barbara Mori but personally I didn't find anything exceptional about her. She was in the movie because the director wanted someone who cannot speak hindi or english.
The action part of the movie was not good enough either to keep the audience engaged.People in the theatre were actually waiting for the movie to get over.Actually Rakesh Roshan should do something like RGV did for Phoonk.
All in all there is no string that will be able to hold kites in theatres for even second week. It is total waste of time and money. In the end you only end up saying "Main ullu ka patha/pathi hoon".
