Nadal humbles Roger again
Clay court king Rafael Nadal proved it again.Second seed Nadal become the first man after swedish legend Bjorn Borg to win French open title for four consecutive years since 1978-81. Roger Federer was left crest-fallen after the defeat from his nemesis Nadal to whom he lost 1-6 3-6 0-6. This was by far the weakest French open final performance by Roger against Nadal. It was an exhilarating performance from the Spainard who dominated the World number one from the word go. So far Nadal holds a very unique record of hundred percent win in French Open since his debut in 2005. He also become the fifth person in the open era to win a title without losing a set. The match left the Swiss bruised and short of the title which he achingly desire for his Title cupboard. Federer has promised to come again next year for the title which has eluded him so far. In any other era, Federer would have easily won more than one title here. Roger Federer with 12 Grand Slam is just two shy of Pete Sampras's Record of 14 Grand Slam titles.
